Open your Cage and fly...

As a small bird I learned
to flutter and peck.
It was long after the winds
tossed me around and
the rains washed me, that
I learned “to fly” meant
to take risk.

Sure any bird can soar,
it is nature. Any bird can
flap and dive and glide. But
to actually be free - able
to see and feel and
experience... well that
takes a strong heart, not
strong wings.

Most birds don’t know
much about hearts. They focus
mainly on eating and
playing.

But listening to the
rapid beat of the heart and
hearing what the internal
drum is saying...
that takes Opening the Cage
to Fly.
